I am always fascinated by what is a news event and what the news media choose to highlight. I popped open Google News tonight and saw this headline to an article about George W. Bush's remarks on Memorial Day:

"Bush: This war will end"

Now, the quote that the article references:

"...one day this war will end, as all wars do."

Thanks for the false hope.
